THE Brief
To design the print media for Al Riwaq’s annual outdoor art event, “The Nest” following the curatorial theme of repetition.
Our Solution
In alignment with the theme of repetition, the art direction was inspired by the local Aali pottery craftsmen in Bahrain. They create thousands of uniform, traditional, money-pots on a weekly basis, which are distributed as gift items all across the country. The typeface was created from seamless rows of dots that represent the ritualistic creation of these pots.
